Rare earth market update on May 28, 2026
The domestic rare earth market has generally maintained a sideways trend. Due to low trading activity on both supply and demand sides, upstream raw material enterprises show slightly insufficient motivation to adjust prices. Under this situation, downstream users mostly replenish out of rigid demand, with weak willingness to stock up. Follow-up on new orders is lackluster, and product prices generally fluctuate within a reasonable range. Most market participants expect that the short-term market trend may continue to be weak and stable. Today, the prices of Praseodymium Oxide, Praseodymium-Neodymium Oxide, Terbium Oxide, and Dysprosium Oxide are approximately RMB 785,000/ton, RMB 690,000/ton, RMB 6,050,000/ton, and RMB 1,250,000/ton, respectively.
