
According to data compiled by Chinatungsten Online from the General Administration of Customs, from January to April 2026, China's exports of tungsten products (excluding cemented carbide tools and tungsten halogen lamps) totaled 3,655.57 tons, representing a year-on-year decrease of 22.23% compared to the same period in 2025. The export value reached RMB 3.940 billion, up 176.14% year-on-year.
From January to April 2026, China exported:
Other tungsten oxides & hydroxides, nes: 400.00 tons, a year-on-year increase of 153.54%.
Tungsten hexafluoride: 156.03 tons, a year-on-year increase of 7.10%.
Carbides of tungsten: 789.89 tons, a year-on-year increase of 163.67%.
Tungsten wire: 133.88 tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.67%.
Bars & rods, exclude those obtained simply by sintering. profiles, plates, sheets, strip, foil: 138.82 tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.69%.
Tungstic acid: 38.40 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 34.25%.
Tungsten trioxides: 160.00 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 51.58%.
Ammonium paratungstate: 2,000 kg, a year-on-year decrease of 98.37%.
Sodium tungstate: 2,000 kg, a year-on-year decrease of 90.91%.
Ammonium metatungstate: 619.85 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 34.95%.
Ferro-tungsten: 582.50 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 40.47%.
Tungsten powders: 167.55 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 63.87%.
Unwrought tungsten, including bars & rods obtained simply by sintering: 235.50 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 65.72%.
Tungsten waste and scrap: 70.41 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 47.21%.
Ferro-silico-tungsten: 4,000 kg (no record in the same period last year).
In addition, from January to April 2026, China exported:
Knives and cutting blades, for machines or for mechanical appliances, of metal carbides, coated or plated: 461.59 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 10.54%.
