According to data compiled by Chinatungsten Online from the General Administration of Customs, in April 2026, China's exports of tungsten products (excluding cemented carbide tools and tungsten halogen lamps) totaled 1,108.14 tons, representing a year-on-year decrease of 19.91% compared to April 2025 and a month-on-month increase of 21.93% compared to March 2026; the export value reached RMB 1.692 billion, up 301.37% year-on-year and up 64.48% month-on-month.
In April 2026, China exported:
Tungsten trioxides: 100 tons, a month-on-month increase of 400.00% (no record in the same period last year).
Other tungsten oxides & hydroxides, nes: 80.00 tons, a month-on-month increase of 33.33% (2 kg exported in the same period last year).
Tungsten hexafluoride: 53.98 tons, a year-on-year increase of 198.12% and a month-on-month increase of 41.83%.
Ammonium metatungstate: 218.33 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 44.14% and a month-on-month increase of 6.59%.
Carbides of tungsten: 271.46 tons, a month-on-month increase of 70.38% (8 tons exported in the same period last year).
Ferro-tungsten: 147.55 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 59.05% and a month-on-month decrease of 29.13%.
Ferro-silico-tungsten: 2,000 kg (no record in the same period last year, flat month-on-month).
Tungsten powders: 8 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 84.88% and a month-on-month decrease of 87.11%.
Unwrought tungsten, including bars & rods obtained simply by sintering: 88.00 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 78.33% and a month-on-month increase of 91.30%.
Tungsten wire: 39.23 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.60% and a month-on-month increase of 43.74%.
Tungsten waste and scrap: 12 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 55.34% (800 kg exported in March).
Bars & rods, exclude those obtained simply by sintering. profiles, plates, sheets, strip, foil: 39.25 tons, a year-on-year increase of 72.94% and a month-on-month decrease of 12.53%.
In addition, in April 2026, China exported:
Knives and cutting blades, for machines or for mechanical appliances, of metal carbides, coated or plated: 97.43 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 26.55% and a month-on-month decrease of 16.03%.
Other knives and cutting blades, for machines or for mechanical appliances, of metal carbides: 102.31 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 42.76% and a month-on-month increase of 1.36%.
