Rare earth market update on April 29, 2026
The overall performance of the domestic rare earth market has been unsatisfactory, with the prices of most products struggling to rise and traders showing low enthusiasm for market operations. As a result, the actual transaction volume remains limited. Recently, the price decline of praseodymium and neodymium has narrowed, mainly due to the slight increase in procurement enthusiasm from downstream users and the stronger price-supporting stance from suppliers.
In the medium and heavy rare earth market, the supply and demand relationship is relatively balanced, and product prices are largely consolidating within a narrow range.
Today, the prices of praseodymium oxide, praseodymium-neodymium metal, terbium oxide, and dysprosium oxide are approximately RMB 770,000/ton, RMB 945,000/ton, RMB 6,150,000/ton, and RMB 1,380,000/ton, respectively.
