Rare earth market update on May 6, 2026
After the May Day holiday, on the first trading day, the domestic rare earth market generally maintained a sideways trend, with few new orders. This was mainly attributed to suppliers’ low willingness to reduce prices for sales and buyers’ high degree of consumption caution.
Today, the prices of praseodymium oxide, praseodymium-neodymium oxide, terbium oxide, and dysprosium oxide are approximately RMB 855,000/ton, RMB 775,000/ton, RMB 6,150,000/ton, and RMB 1,380,000/ton, respectively.
