According to data compiled by Chinatungsten Online from the General Administration of Customs, in March 2026, China's exports of tungsten products (excluding cemented carbide tools and tungsten halogen lamps) totaled 908.83 tons, representing a year-on-year increase of 10.60% compared to March 2025 and a month-on-month increase of 39.03% compared to February 2026; the export value reached RMB 1.029 billion, up 301.49% year-on-year and up 94.00% month-on-month.
In March 2026, China exported:
Tungsten trioxides: 20.00 tons, with no recorded exports in March 2025 and a month-on-month decrease of 50.00%.
Other tungsten oxides & hydroxides, nes: 60.00 tons, with no recorded exports in March 2025 and a month-on-month decrease of 40.00%.
Tungsten hexafluoride: 38.06 tons, a year-on-year increase of 66.94% and a month-on-month increase of 30.26%.
Ammonium paratungstate: 2,000 kg, with no recorded exports in March 2025 or February 2026.
Ammonium metatungstate: 204.82 tons, a year-on-year increase of 22.26% and a month-on-month increase of 126.86%.
Carbides of tungsten: 159.33 tons, with no recorded exports in March 2025 and a month-on-month increase of 45.44%.
Ferro-tungsten: 208.20 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 29.88% and a month-on-month increase of 49.52%.
Ferro-silico-tungsten: 2,000 kg, with no recorded exports in March 2025 or February 2026.
Tungsten powders: 52.05 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 61.12% and a month-on-month increase of 934.17%.
Unwrought tungsten, including bars & rods obtained simply by sintering: 46.00 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 50.58% and a month-on-month increase of 113.95%.
Tungsten wire: 27.29 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 17.96% and a month-on-month decrease of 5.96%.
Tungsten waste and scrap: 800 kg, a year-on-year decrease of 60.00% and a month-on-month decrease of 95.29%.
Bars & rods, exclude those obtained simply by sintering; profiles, plates, etc: 44.87 tons, a year-on-year increase of 144.30% and a month-on-month increase of 137.55%.
Additionally, in March 2026, China exported:
